  • How dare you call yourself orthodox

This podcast reminds me of a story of a restaurant in Paris.

The restaurant was owned by a non-religious Israeli, written in big Hebrew letters Kosher on the front of the restaurant.

  • Changing the Law to Fit One’s Desires

Great concept, but not good if you want a true Torah Observant perspective on these topics. As another reviewer mentioned, this show is almost entirely about finding loopholes in Halacha and in doing so making Jewish law more palatable to those who don’t really want to follow it anyway.

  • Distasteful

How can a self-professed “orthodox” rabbi express the falsehood that there is no prohibition for a man to view pornography? Isn’t the shulchan aruch clear about the prohibition of a man looking at areas of a woman’s body that are normally covered (other than ones wife)? This is a distortion of halacha. And it is just one example of his twisting or ignoring basic halacha to permit just about anything.
