  • Great Show for more than just Jira

Alex and Rodney are real life Atlassian ecosystem experts. They bring to life the use cases, features, issues and improvements in Jira, Confluence and more. They have provided expert guidance and free assistance and advice through this new podcast series. I started with their live streams on YouTube but have subscribed to the Podcast to be able to listen wherever my travels take me. Highly recommended A+++++ content.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Future of Atlassian: Community Shifts, Data Center EOL, & #findLarry with Larry Brock
Q: Larry, what's your favorite moment when you have somebody come to a community event and what's that aha moment that people give away or radiate on?
The aha moment comes when a small group sits around a table, a problem is identified, and a few people collaboratively solve it, signaling to everyone that practical help is within reach and that the community really works as a supportive network.
...And Now a Word from Our Sponsor (with Nelson Pereira)
Q: What announcement are you most excited about from this past year or week?
Being able to leverage the Teamwork Graph and the Robo LLMs for enterprise customers, especially as data privacy and governance barriers were previously blocking access to new AI capabilities; this unlocks internal tool-building and empowered workflows without compromising data security.
Planning Work with Jira and Beyond (with Walter Buggenhout)
Q: Walter, can you tell us a bit about your background and how you landed in the Jira/PPM space?
Walter shares a multidisciplinary path from languages and IT into a factory setting, developing a training-tracking database, moving through software training and development, and finally finding a niche in Atlassian consulting focused on strategy, planning, and Jira-based portfolio work.
Atlassian Government Cloud and Isolated Cloud (with Josh Costella)
Q: What do you think Atlassian is going to introduce or talk about next week?
They might discuss achieving high FedRAMP status and how it affects government customers.
Hitting the JACpot: Navigating New Atlassian Features with Jens Schumacher
Q: How do you perceive the future of JAC?
Many believe it may not be useful in its current form and that a more transparent communication process from Atlassian is needed.
