That was a super great, amazing horse and its run. Jim's review is completely overlapping mine. Jim should get a horse. 🐓

But horse's name is always odd to me.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

MLB First Half, Ja Morant To Trailblazers
Q: What makes Ja Morant a good fit for the Trail Blazers?
The panel suggests his explosiveness and ability to take over games could thrive in a team on the rise like Portland, provided he adapts to a system with less off-court distraction and a supportive cast. The move is framed as an opportunity for a fresh start and a pathway to rejuvenate his peak years.
LaMelo To Minny, Raiders Football
Q: How do you see the Kirk Cousins to Fernando transition playing out in the quarterback situation?
Brown believes Cousins will start and play well enough to justify keeping him in, but expects a game where Fernando will get a chance to play late and prove himself, ultimately leading to a longer-term rotation or starter decision as the season progresses.
LaMelo To Minny, Raiders Football
Q: Realistically, how big of a step can Minnesota take this year with the addition of LaMelo Ball and the new coaching staff?
Tim Brown suggests the team has a good chance due to the off-season acquisitions and improved surrounding pieces, but he remains measured about whether they'll leap toward the top of the West and cautions that the impact depends on how quickly the new pieces fit and how Ant responds to the improved roster.
Brian Webber on Spurs Forcing Game 7, Ask The Pro's, Week That Was
Q: What makes Game 7 between Spurs and Thunder a pivotal moment?
The Spurs' defense and Wemnby's evolution could determine whether OKC can close out the series in a hostile environment, with basketball IQ and depth possibly tipping the scales.
Spurs In 6, LA Rams Big Trade
Q: Ran, as somebody who was deeply involved with the NFL Draft over the years, what do you make of Rams GM Les Snead and the way he continues to aggressively use his draft capital, which he can sum up with a phrase of FDM picks?
Ran explains that Les Snead's approach is to maximize value by using first-round picks to acquire proven players, reducing projection risk and creating a win-win dynamic for building a contender.
