ART FOR YOUR EAR brings you stories from some of my favorite contemporary artists. When I studied Art History, the best part was, well, the gossip. I loved finding out why artists did certain things, what was going on in their personal lives, and behind-the-scenes details about other artists they knew and worked with. This podcast is exactly that ... inside-scoop stories from the artsiest people I... more

This is going to have to be part one of many, because New York based Mexican sculptor Raul De Lara has way too many good stories ... Pepe the carpenter ghost, for example!
This is a very special episode because I didn't do just one interview, I interviewed a whole room full of fabulous artists at the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art. Who, you ask? The great artists of tomorrow - ages 3 to 10! Brace yourself for inspi... more
Today's artsy investigation takes a look into the WHY and HOW behind "ART and JOY", and oh so much more. If you've ever wanted to write a book but aren't sure how to get started, or you're curious about why I made the jump from adult art books to kid... more

As a lifelong artist, it is a treat to hear where artists get their inspiration. Love these conversations!
Thank you for the pod cast. I stumbled on your show, and I absolutely love the Peacock story from Petha, I think story is very important for art, to understand the piece of work and the artist intentions. And sometimes i find as an artist, it is not easy to be articulated with our story too. By the way, I also had an experience of my degree teacher told me not to paint pretty pictures and I didn’t paint since that was 15 years. Only now, I just about to pick up a paint bush, I think to myself. W... more
Helpful on days of production in the studio, good background listening that’s also inspiring. I like the hosts curiosity and questions. Maybe let the artist have room for their own stories without it tying into the re-telling of the host’s personal narrative, as the listener we hear her story repeatedly, then I would rate as 5 🌟
Great guests to learn from. I loved it when your mom was on the Podcast! 🤍💫
This is my favorite podcast to listen to in the studio and is in my top favorite podcasts of all time! I never get tired of hearing about different artists processes. I love Danielle’s humor, honesty and interview style. I love this podcast!
