  • I DO have time

Just listened to the “I don’t have time” episode and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I DO have time, I’m retired and really trying to delve deeper into my ancestry and spirituality. Finally I am not tied to that 40+ hour work clock, so I need to shake off the dust and MAKE time for the things that are really important to me. No one else will do it for me, right?? I have a feeling I will be listening to this one often as a reminder. Thanks so much!

  • Irish Paganism: #1 Source

If you’re interested in Irish Paganism, Deities, magic, folk religion, or the history of Native Irish Spirituality this should be your first stop. They have such a wealth of knowledge, wisdom, the highest quality teachers, fantastic recommended resources, and help you learn how to find reliable sources for everything. Truly an irreplaceable point of reference. I’ve been able to grow my own knowledge so much through years of working with IPS material and I can’t recommend them highly enough!

  • Great insights on a fascinating topic

Edit: I have raised my review to 5 stars because I listened to the January 8, 2025 episode, in which Lora addresses comments like mine below. I love the openness and effort.

There is so much to explore here for anyone interested in the topic. They clearly know what they are talking about, and are walking their talk. The only reason why I’m not giving it 5 stars is that too often they succumb to scolding hypothetical people. I even agree with what they’re saying when they’re doing the scolding... more

Why would a Dagda devotee not like Lugh?
Q: Why might someone devoted to the Dagda not see Lugh so favorably?

Predominantly yes, but outside of the Irish pantheon, the raven is associated with different deities.
When did the Dagda's Story End?

I personally would say no, but I would say that there are such a broad expression of the Dagda, his abilities, his themes, his culture, his connection with other people and the many names and aspects of him.
