I would really love to listen to this podcast but the saliva sound really throws me off.
The podcast offers some interesting insights but falls short of really going deep bc the ultimate aim is to sell sell sell. The ethical foundations that are claimed to underpin the deck don’t exactly chime with the sale pitch vibe. If you compare to Fortune’s wheelhouse, yes they are definitely offering books/courses to buy, but they don’t sacrifice content to do it. And you don’t have to - tarot is so richly detailed you could study for a lifetime and still not understand it all. Particular dis... more
Mostly writing a review to balance out the person who gave three stars and said there’s too much focus on illness and trauma. Also the person who said it sounds like they are eating. It does not.
I’ve enjoyed the tarot aspects of this podcast and Lyndsay’s calm, nurturing voice, but I’ve noticed a strong focus on health struggles, and trauma throughout. While I understand these are real experiences, I worry that this emphasis can sometimes plant seeds for listeners that are limiting rather than empowering. This also seems to be a growing trend in alternative wellness communities, where the focus on illness can overshadow spiritual insights.

A trauma-informed, spiritually focused tarot show that blends practical card interpretations with personal growth, astrology, and monthly themes. Episodes frequently center on self-care, community, and the energetic shifts of the month, often pairing tarot with healing practices, creative work, and invitations to deepen practice through courses or memberships. The host's calm, nurturing delivery, emphasis on compassion, and willingness to grapple with illness, trauma, and systemic change make the show feel like a supportive spiritual studio rather than a traditional readings podcast. A notable strength is the integration of tarot with wellness, creativity, and social themes, plus regular expansions like live memberships and educational prog... more
