  • Politics and astrology

I used to love this podcast but this is way too political now. I wish it would go back to the stars as this is starting to just sound like a “fight” against politics and there are plenty of podcasts for this. I hope this changes as Chani is so intelligent and it makes me so sad to listen to! I can’t even get through an episode now.

  • Keep it up!

I don’t get how people can be so upset about the political slant of this podcast, and especially right now. The world is on fire in multiple ways. What good does neutrality do us? Chani’s great because she believes in a vision for the world and it’s a lens through which she’s reading the sky and how it affects our world. You don’t like it? Grow up and listen to another podcast.

  • Very political

I used to adore this podcast but now I find myself having to skip almost half of the podcast because it is so political and very untasteful. It is clear she is extremely one sided and shows no intention to actually address astrology without spending 5-10 min on a political rant. Very much a downer because I love her take on astrology.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

The Week of March 9th, 2026: Opportunity and overheating with Venus and Mars
Q: Hi Chani. Thank you for everything that you do, especially in this time right now with the support 30 code.
The listener asks how to interpret their chart ruler when it's in retrograde; Chani explains she uses traditional chart rulers and that a retrograde ruler can indicate a life direction that moves more slowly or in a different path, but encourages using this to understand one's own timing and approach rather than seeing retrograde as purely negative.
The Week of March 16th, 2026: An uncertain Equinox
Q: Hi, Chani. Inspired by the question from the twins with different rising signs, my sister and I were born three and a half years apart, but we have the same rising sign. And I'm just curious about, despite the fact that pretty much everything in our charts is different, how does that shared rising sign, what does it say for our relationship and our paths in life and our overlap?
Having the same rising sign means you share the same area of life where the sky's movements occur, so the big, top-level meanings of the astrology are aligned for both of you, even though the specifics can differ because of other planets and chart details. This shared rising sign will place you in the same life arena at the same time, but how it plays out will still depend on your individual planetary placements and aspects, which will modulate the exact experiences and timing for each person.
The Week of March 2nd, 2026: The ups and downs of eclipse season
Q: Hi Chani, can you talk about elements in your chart and how they influence personal astrology?
The balance of elements in a chart shapes how you express Earth practicality, Air intellect and communication, Water emotion and relationships, and Fire energy and motivation. Personal planets in Earth signs tend to ground and organize; strong Air emphasizes perspective and communication; Water enhances empathy and emotional attunement; Fire fuels action and enthusiasm. The overall mix determines how you show up in daily life, how you relate to others, and how you manage energy across your chart's houses.
The Week of February 23rd, 2026: Mix-ups and shake-ups with Mercury retrograde in Pisces
Q: If you have a stellium but it's different than your rising sign, is there one that has more influence over the other?
The sign of the stellium will be dominant in your life, but your rising sign is crucial as it sets up the house system of your chart.
The Week of February 16th, 2026: A historic Saturn–Neptune meetup — oh, and a solar eclipse
Q: What is it like for you to see the events that unfold and do you listen to your podcast when it comes out?
I don't go back and listen to my podcasts, but I do know what I've said for the most part. I get feedback from listeners and sometimes that feedback really helps me see how accurate my readings were.
