  • Good but just tread lightly with the politics

look ill be upfront. im conservative. i didn’t like EVs for a long time, but the logic is catching up with me. Still, I’d love for them to not be so politicized. This show does a pretty good job of not wading too deep into those waters, but now and then they do tip their hand. Personally, I don’t want to see the government subsidize anything, whether it be oil, EVs, or honestly even roads (I guess I’m more of a libertarian in that respect). Here’s the bottom line, I think EV’s are a good idea, b... more

  • Varied guests, mediocre hosting

There are some good guests (hydrogen refueling episode) but I find Johnny’s constant ranting about people who don’t like/buy EVs annoying and self defeating. I personally really like EVs, so imagine what it is like for someone who comes in skeptical?

  • Needs new hosts

Johnny is almost unbearably smug and constantly name drops and interrupts guests. Both Johnny and Ed are clearly coastal elites who constantly let their liberal politics leech into the show. Guess what: apparently if you don’t agree with them you’re an idiot and you should shut up and go away.

  • Where is the video

You said it’s a video podcast but it’s not, so any references to images on screen are going to infuriate. If this isn’t just a YouTube channel or Twitch stream please let us watch the video on Apple Podcasts. PS I like both of y’all, you have good chemistry, this is good info, and you do surprisingly fascinating interviews with an interesting variety of people.

  • Love my EV

I recently leased a Mercedes EQE

    I just love it!

I had read some disparaging comments about the Mercedes electric lineup, and was seriously wondering if I had made an error. But I’m extremely happy with the car. It’s gorgeous inside and out. I never have to stop at a gas station. It floats silently down the highway.

I’m truly in love with it!

So I’m suspecting that those bad reviews were from people unable to acquire one! Believe me it’s awesome!
