  • Fantastic in-depth interviews around all-things Electric Vehicles

After buying my first used EV in 2025, I started listening to this in early 2026 and have fallen in love with it. The hosts conduct fantastic interviews with EV insiders from all ends of the spectrum, including charging providers, electric bikes, obviously electric cars, self-driving innovators, and more. If you’re a believe in the future of all-electric vehicles, you’ll enjoy learning from The InEVitable.

  • Tried to like this

I tried to like this podcast but man the hosts are pretty unbearable. A bit cringy interviewing guests who come on the show. These guys are def car people but not sure if they’re the best to provide information related to EVs. Makes sense why they keep saying that the show has no sponsors

  • This one deliVErs

We are at an inflection point, these guys know it, and as we listen to the episodes we will come to know it as well. It is not just about electrifying vehicles, going green, saving the planet, being politically correct. (Although that’s certainly a big part of it.) But think about this - the single largest manufacturing industry in the world is changing massively. A single platform underpinning the full range of a brand’s offering, and not sucking, means huge consolidation and corporate power sh... more

  • Good but just tread lightly with the politics

look ill be upfront. im conservative. i didn’t like EVs for a long time, but the logic is catching up with me. Still, I’d love for them to not be so politicized. This show does a pretty good job of not wading too deep into those waters, but now and then they do tip their hand. Personally, I don’t want to see the government subsidize anything, whether it be oil, EVs, or honestly even roads (I guess I’m more of a libertarian in that respect). Here’s the bottom line, I think EV’s are a good idea, b... more

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Rivian Built an E-Bike?! 100-Mile Range & No Chain (Also TM-B First Ride)
Q: Is the TM-B open to third-party battery or spare parts, or is it intentionally closed?
Current strategy focuses on delivering complete vehicle products; they are not aiming to become a supplier to the broader micro-mobility industry, and there is limited openness for third-party batteries or frames at the outset, with plans to potentially revisit this as the platform matures.
Rivian Built an E-Bike?! 100-Mile Range & No Chain (Also TM-B First Ride)
Q: What is the TM-B's target market and how does it compare to traditional e-bikes in price and capability?
The TM-B is positioned as a vehicle-like e-bike that emphasizes engineering and practicality over being a niche luxury bike. It aims to be more capable than standard e-bikes, with a broader feature set (integrated safety, vehicle-grade components, swappable top frames, and DreamRide tech) while staying accessible in price, with options around $3,500 for the base model and $4,500 for the higher-end configuration.
Tesla Veteran Building Ford’s Next EV Platform | The $30K Electric Truck Explained
Q: Why a structural battery and prismatic cells in the first vehicle?
To maximize cost efficiency, enable a lighter, more compact pack, and allow the platform to be adaptable to different chemistries and future tech while keeping the cost down for a mid-size pickup.
Tesla Veteran Building Ford’s Next EV Platform | The $30K Electric Truck Explained
Q: What exactly did Ford pitch Alan Clarke to join the project?
The pitch was to create affordable EVs that aren't boring, with a leadership board fully behind doing it differently and building a platform that supports flexible, cost-conscious production.
Inside 38 Years of Honda Car Design with Dave Marek
Q: Did you always want to draw cars?
Marek shares that he was always drawing cars from a young age and eventually pursued it professionally.
