Extensive overview of rules which very useful.
Liked the matter fact way the topic was approached & no hobby chat .
Great podcast for 30K, have enjoyed it for quite some time.
A good recent episode on Dan’s excellent book. I agree with Greg: it’s the best ever 40k book.
Overall a good podcast the problem is that the mic the host uses is so quiet compared to his guests which are much louder, the result being that it becomes a bit of a trial to listen to. A shame as the content is good and interesting.
Just started listening to this, my first 30K podcast. Presenters are enthusiastic about the game. Fun to listen to.

This show centers on the Horus Heresy (HH) hobby, lore, and miniature gaming scene, with deep dives into new releases, narrative campaigns, and painting education. Episodes balance in-depth discussions of books, journals, and kit design with practical hobby tips, event coverage, and guest interviews from authors, painters, and industry educators. A notable strength is its mix of lore analysis, industry context, and hands-on painting culture, often featuring long-form interviews and behind-the-scenes looks at publishing and education initiatives. Potential listeners can expect thoughtful, hobby-forward conversations that appeal to both story enthusiasts and modelers seeking practical guidance and community insight.
