Also, Frances makes a GLORIOUS RETURN to the show so we can discuss an incident with a misogynistic Masters racer (#notallmasters) shared recently on Twitter by Frank Cundiff. From there, we discuss how all of us can not just support women's bike rac... more
Welcome to Volume 6! This month: why we're not that stoked on the Tour de France this year, plus a lot more besides. Maybe we do complain a little bit too much about the annoying things other people in bike races do.
Closing music by Chris Norton.
Volume 5 is here! We try to talk about a few different things but mostly end up focused on what it means to try too hard. That's the good stuff. There's also a long meander through Greg's attempt at the Six Gaps route in Vermont, which is also pretty... more
We're back! An all-new episode for you, now that #roadishere. A little bit of the pros, a little bit of our own racing, a lot of the usual silliness.

Honesty is a strong point of the show. Best of all it’s not the slow ride podcast so they honestly try to pronounce people’s names. Honestly it’s a low bar for a cycling podcast but whatever, five stars.
No...it is certainly not about the pinnacle sport in the summer games-the epic greatness that is Rhythmic Gymnastics...But-it Is indeed a great show, that has gotten better every episode and has a well balanced outlook on most aspects of cycling from three fantastic hosts. cycling culture and, well...Bike life. Looking forward to many more episodes, Thanks for the commute distracton!
These guys and girl have really started to hit their stride, and this show gets better ever week! A bit about the racing scene, but not another race news podcast. HBP tackles cycling topics round table style and provides good insight. Topics like riding with a helmet, Idaho stops, and even power meters. I like the break from full race analysis, but they have just enough to keep me in the loop. Kudos! Four stars because there's always room to improve. P.S. I hope Frances reads this is a goofy voi... more
I love this podcast! These guys are honest, humble, and real. I'm not a racer, but I do ride quite a bit; commuter, night rides with friends, and gravel events. I love their voices, their tone, and the fun and passion they have for riding and racing. So good! Thanks @_mattio and @grolby!
Greg, Mattio, and their guests have a great perspective on cycling that criss-crosses all kinds of disciplines, from road racing and cyclocross to commuting. While I spend a lot of time on a bike, I’m put off by exclusionary subcultures: the only time they come up here is to good-naturedly poke fun. The discussions are insightful and touch on timely topics in cycling. Recommended for anyone who loves biking!
