My chat with Steve starts with a kid shitting on his own shoulder and ends with a welshman sipping gin in a camisole. If that doesn't hook you, you're looking at the wrong show. Interview by Jonathan Harden. Recorded via Zoom, June 2020. Studio facil... more
A fascinating, honest chat with Bronagh Waugh. From working as nanny following The Fall, to being trolled in the gutter press off the back of Hollyoaks, and how she's coped with it all. Some cracking nuggets of wisdom and polished gems of advice, all... more

A long and winding chat with, Lucas Hare. Don't be fooled by the oak beams in the background, like 93.7% of us, Luke is a distant relative of Danny Dyer (Source: Ancestry.com). His Bob Dylan podcast, Is it Rolling, Bob? is available wherever you got ... more
that was my absolute fav episode have him back on!! love the podcast!
This is my favourite podcast. Even though I'm a musician and not an actor, I just love the honesty on this podcast! How the actors admit to going months without work, or how they spend years without an agent or any support. And how hard that can be. And how connections are still a very vital part of them getting jobs. In most musician podcasts they never mention the struggles musicians have or the help they've gotten to get to where they are. Thank you for this experience. Great to hear so many different histories.
I have been listening since the beginning and it’s just wonderful. Truthful, heartening, hilarious - a hug received through your headphones.
I love this podcast, and I hate exercise, so The Honest Actor gets me through what would be a mind numbing session on my elliptical. I work in the theatre, but most of my life in dance; my son is a young actor and I ‘honestly’ think I’ve been able to share some great insights, and better understand both the turning wheels of the industry, and the humble and mercurial imaginations of the lovely actors.
The podcast is always realistic, humorous and informative. THANK YOU
