There’s some aspects of this podcast which work well. Some of the characters are well thought out and the narrative thread is decent. However some of the voices grate on the ears including a borderline offensive abysmal Scottish accent. Also the constant use of the phrase “botch” for what I assume is a critical fail is urgh.
I can be really picky with the dnd podcasts I listen to, and I don’t normally stray from traditional high fantasy, however I’m extremely glad I did. This podcast has blown my mind with how well structured the story is, how the characters role play, and the various trials they face. If you want a dnd podcast that really has stakes, this is a great one. Also if you like hearing the mechanics to learn about the game, this show doesn’t cut a lot of that out.
