  • This podcast got me into USPSA

Found the podcast a few weeks ago looking for new gun podcast to listen to and it got me interested in the sport. Shot my first match this weekend and it was a ton of fun can’t wait to do more. I even had to reshoot a stage twice due to an activator not triggering properly, I really feel like one of the gang now! Thanks for a consistent interesting show.

  • These guys

Really enjoy the podcast. Like all the topics they talk about even if it isn’t shooting related.

If this cast of four were the golden girls Reid would for sure be Dorothy.

Q: What do you do to amp yourself up for that first stage?
Focus on having a good stage plan prepared ahead of time and managing energy with snacks to avoid getting too antsy.
The Hit Factor EP176: Jeremy defends himself - Q&A
Q: Is it beneficial to try and predict what your time or hit factor will be on each stage before you shoot it, or just go shoot it as fast as you can and let it be what it is?
It's not generally beneficial to guess or try to shoot in a specific time, but having familiarity with your shooting can be beneficial.

Q: What are your predictions for the results of the Carry Optics Nationals?
Jeff predicts Eric will win, followed by Christian in second and Jacob Hetherington in third.
The Hit Factor EP185: Carry Optics Nationals Re-Cap.
Q: What do you think about foreigners going one, two, three? Should Americans feel embarrassed?
Not embarrassed, as international competitors dedicate more time to the sport and deserve respect for their commitment.
The Hit Factor EP187: Where have we been?
Q: What is your plan for Nationals?
My plan is to shoot a few times and participate in a pistol smithing training camp to get some good practice.
