Thanks for the accessible introduction to open source mapping software, an area about which I know nothing, via the overlay of a 19th century diary of a journey westward in a covered wagon. I can't wait to learn more as I follow Ruth's grand adventure, and Jen's.
Buckle up folks, this is going to be a fascinating trip! I don’t have a background in geomorphology or cartography but Jen is keeping the process clear and easy to grasp. It’s interesting to get a peak behind the curtain to see this process and I look forward to learning more about the Shackleford’s journey.
