The original podcast was amazing. The hosts were funny, down to earth, and had great commentary on metal. It was really enjoyable. When an “all new podcast with Rex and Duff” came on I assumed it was the original podcasters changing their names. However, it really does not seem to be. The new guys sound like sports commentators -overly cheerful and fake with a lame, pedestrian sense of humor. I might give another listen a few podcasts in to see if this was a joke and the original guys come back ... more
If you are a metalhead, you must listen to this one.
Two normal dudes with a huge acumen and knowledge talks about all the bands that you like. You heard me.
Just stumbled across this podcast. Have only listened to two episodes so far but I enjoy the hosts and they seem to know a lot about metal. My only gripe came with the best Heavy Metal Riffs episode. I understand that some metal heads think it’s uncool to acknowledge Metallica but to leave James Hetfield off of the best riffs list is just wrong. If anyone was to knock Iommi off the Riff Lord pedestal it would certainly be James. Other than that, can’t wait to listen to more episodes!!
These guys are cool.
I was on a Randy Rhoads kick, searched on a whim for “Randy Rhoads podcast” and stumbled upon this place. Just listened to the one on Motley Crue and it was just as good.
Highly recommend you give them a listen.
Killer podcast !!! In depth analysis of bands and albums. If you’re looking to broaden your metal playlist, this is the podcast. Introduced me to a number of killer bands. Keep it up guys 🤘🤘🤘
