  • Informative and relevant

This podcast is really well presented. I loved how clear it was and easy to listen to. Although it’s about working abroad, one thing that struck me is how relevant it is to our current climate. We’re all trying to work more flexibly and work from different locations and this podcast gives lots of information about this, including stuff like Skype interviews which is really helpful at the moment.

  • Eye roll

A podcast for highly privileged white middle class university-educated people. There is no consideration or articulation given to this privilege and the ability to move about the world which often equates to (neo)colonialism. The word “expat”, which this podcast uses ALL the time, is also a highly colonial concept. Rich white people are expats and poor (white) brown and black people are migrants. Great. Given the current BLM situation, this podcast rings even more out of tone than ever.
