Jamie Hess puts so much time and care into each of these episodes. A true journalist and storyteller!

The topics sound interesting but I struggle to listen, at regular speed or even faster speeds, due to the unusually long pauses between each phrase. Like one might hear in a mediation class when you are being encouraged to tune out distractions, especially the running commentary in your own mind. So for a podcast it doesn’t really work, it’s counterproductive.
Listening to Jamie’s conversation with Elissa Kalver, Founder & CEO of WeGotThis.org, I’m reminded that some people give far more than they take—especially those facing the toughest challenges themselves.
