Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

#176 The Rock
Q: So Chris, Good, Bad, Weird, what do you rate The Rock?
For me, I can't say this movie is just good, because while it is fun, while I had a good time watching it, and while I do feel like there was a lot more effort put into it for an action film, then the old standard for action, it's not quite that good.
Spotlight #027 Spider-Man feat. Kalloth0467
Q: What do you think about everyone in this movie pretty much being sweet on Mary Jane?
It's a little weird now that I'm an adult because there were really no other women in that movie that they cared about besides her.
Spotlight #027 Spider-Man feat. Kalloth0467
Q: What were your feelings rewatching the Spider-Man?
It was a lot more cheesy than I remembered, but that works to its charm really well, and it definitely set the template for modern superhero films.
Spotlight #029 Spider-Man 3
Q: Would you recommend Spider-Man 1, 2 and 3 to people?
I would, because I think this is a really good way to look at the 2000s and how very different society was.
#169 History of the World: Part 1
Q: So then, Chris, what do you rate History of the World Part 1?
This is a good bad for me. I still give it a good because even though we ranted and we raved and we've talked about how it could be improved, part of the reason I did that is because I've seen this movie so many goddamn times.
