  • Begging for freebies really put me off

I had to stop listening after a couple of minutes. Within the intro one of the hosts was essentially begging for a freebie from a brand. “Extreme Cashmere hear my plea” - this doesn’t sit well with me. Everyone knows people in their industry get a tonne of freebies as it is whilst the rest of us have to pay. Begging on your podcast is greedy, not interesting to listen to, and quite frankly - embarrassing

  • Impatient for more

I love this podcast, it’s just long enough, the hosts voices are soothing, and I love hearing about what people buy and why. Sort of like what’s in your bag. I’m very nosy 🤣

Petra Collins on Horror Films, Modeling for Gucci & Her Photography Style
Q: What are some influences that shaped your photography and image-making?
She discusses Rookie magazine, early London fashion influences, and how horror aesthetics and iconic film imagery inform the mood and styling of her shoots today.
Petra Collins on Horror Films, Modeling for Gucci & Her Photography Style
Q: Tell us about your style and how it evolved across eras.
Petra explains her love for multiple eras, her archival inspiration from 70s to 90s looks, and how she blends filmic references with a contemporary lens to create a personal, adaptive wardrobe that can morph with different projects.
Marisa Abela on Her Wedding Dress, Amy Winehouse, and 'Industry'
Q: How did Yasmin's wardrobe evolve across the seasons to reflect her character's arc?
Season 1 featured ultra-feminine, high-heeled, body-con silhouettes for the male gaze; Season 2 introduced more space via trouser suits; Season 4 leaned into aristocratic, quiet luxury with exclusive brands and tailored pieces, portraying a shift in power and social cues.
Marisa Abela on Her Wedding Dress, Amy Winehouse, and 'Industry'
Q: What was your first big purchase that made you feel you'd “made it,” and how did that shape your approach to fashion?
During Industry read-throughs, I bought huge Louis Vuitton trainers as a signal of success, which cast some laughs but taught me to buy for myself and not to signal status to others; the lesson was to invest in items that make me feel good and comfortable in my own skin.
Marisa Abela on Her Wedding Dress, Amy Winehouse, and 'Industry'
Q: Can you tell us where you went on your honeymoon and what you learned from investing in experiences over things?
We traveled from LA to New York area, then Vegas, Amangiri in Utah, and Mexico City, followed by the Pacific Coast. The trip emphasized that memories from experiences last longer than material purchases, and some places became part of the story I tell through photos and wardrobe.
