  • Good topics, inconsistent audio, self-absorbed host

Most of the guests on this pod are great. I enjoy the deep dives and “niche” conversations. I’m not in the fashion industry, and still really enjoy listening. That said, guests’ audio is inconsistent. Some weeks it’s great, other weeks it’s quite hard to understand what the person is saying. The biggest rug for me is Lauren Sherman. She frequently interrupts her guests, and really is the epitome of “talks much, says little”. Lauren would benefit from some self-editing and holding herself to a hi... more

  • Listen because of the guests

I have conflicting emotions about how I feel about this podcast. I love the guests that are interviewed. They are top quality, with interesting things to say and provide a great window into the world of fashion. The host, however, is not so enjoyable to listen to. She seems to be unable to string together a coherent sentence most of the time. 8 out of 10 times that she starts to say something she self-censors midway, which ends up sounding like a bunch of rambling while saying nothing. Thankfull... more

  • Informative but annoying host

Podcast is informative but the host is mediocre at best. She is ignorant, snarky and often times unable to form a sentence constantly saying “um” and struggling to put together her thoughts to make her point, it is deeply grating. She clearly needs more practice, shes an okay writer but not a podcaster they should replace her with someone who has the same knowledge and access but better speaking skills. Also she is very rude to her guests not just interrupting them and going on minutes long rant... more

  • Underrated serious but fun fashion pod

I’m a lawyer who has no business loving this podcast as much as I do. I’ve always loved fashion as a form of self expression and find find this discussion, like all of Puck’s stuff, s deeply insightful, fun, and insidery. I also just love the host and look forward to this drop!

  • As Podcasts Should Be

Great discourse, good humor, casual, easy listen while discussing topics that could otherwise be analytical and dense. Lauren is elegant and cool, but not too cool.
