This week we talk about the book of Jonah. You won't get moralism here. The point of the book is too important for that. Jesus' words in the Gospels about Jonah are our major interpretive lens. Listen in as we find Christ in this book of the minor pr... more
This week Todd and Chris turn to the book of Esther. Todd really has some great insight into the book since he grew up Jewish. How do we understand this book that never mentions God? Is God still there? What about his promises? What does God's appare... more
This week Todd and I discuss the book of Proverbs. What is the point of wisdom literature like this? It was given during the typological covenant of works with Israel. So is it law? Listen in as we talk about finding Christ in this important book of ... more

Chris Caughey and Lee Irons do a very thorough review of the work and thought of Meredith G. Kline. Not everyone will agree with everything with Meredith Kline but he does present sound reasoning and it has caused me to see the Bible in a whole new way. I think it will help me to think things through better.
Every episode I have listened to, esp. the ones on women in the home and church are some of the best in terms of the soundness of doctrine and also very pastoral and uplifting to women. They are always seeking an original audience reading or scripture and are not afraid to critique extreme readings of the Christian sub-culture. Thank you, guys!

Excellent resource for all Christians wanting more depth to their education from what I consider one of the greatest in M. Kline, which is delivered through two terrific teachers. They make the teaching succinct allowing for a lot of territory to be covered quickly. I discovered Kline through Lee Irons site The Upper Register and am forever grateful to him.
This is by far the most theologically rich podcast available. Even if you have never heard of Meredith Kline you will benefit greatly from the teachers who host this podcast. Careful you will be hooked.
