  • Geography, academic life and data!

Not an academic anymore but I really like listening to this podcast, it covers geography, topics around spatial data science, GiS and geocomputation (and why we are discussing them now or in the past). The hosts bring a very good mix of personal stories, reflections grounded in a bigger time frame than your usual buzzwords on interesting topics! If you are interested in spatial data, not aware much of geography you will get something out of it and the reverse is also true!

  • so cool!!

I haven’t taken geography since I was 14 and this is my favourite podcast. Listening to the hosts speak has solidified my thoughts about pursuing a career in academia. I love how — regardless of age, background or experience — that everyone on this podcast has such a youthful quality, I don’t think that would exist were it not for their continuous curiosity and openness to learn! I love to hear more about the things people are passionate about and I admire the dedication everyone one of the host... more
