Was a really good story
Jonas’ French accent was absolutely atrocious.
Surely they could have gotten a native speaker.
It’s too distracting to listen to the podcast
Edit: now I’ve listened to more and it’s ALL of the characters that are terrible.
The plot was very interesting (although I wasn’t a fan of the ending) which made the villain’s cheesy French accent more bearable. The romance storyline was unnecessary and felt forced— but I would be interested in more stories from these creators. Hopefully they can refine future seasons and other stories.
I really, really tried to persist with this as the story is interesting. But if you’re going to have a French major character, please write the language plausibly and cast an actor who can pull it off. Unbearable, so I’ve given up.
Great podcast, characters and acting! I even love the way it ended. This was super interesting to listen to. And the means of killing people was very refreshing because I had never considered how our genetic makeup plays a part in everything.
