2 of the 3 hosts don’t even play board games anymore. I started listening recently and 75% of the podcast is them talking about random things, definitely NOT board games. Don’t even bother subscribing unless you want random convos on your podcast.
The actual reviews intakes of games are pretty good. But any credibility is shot by the way this guy talks. It’s completely vulgar and misogynistic and I find it to be very disrespectful to the female cohost. Not sure why it’s even necessary or who this guy thinks he is. It’s 2025 dude show some respect.
This is one of my favorite gaming podcasts. The episodes are very long, and some of the language is not for me. It is a testament to how much I enjoy these guys that I listen anyway, and that I almost always listen to the entire episode. What I value about this team is that when they discuss a game I get a real sense of the game experience, how they felt while playing. I have purchased at least two games following such discussion.
