Through books, banter, flirtation, philosophy, and small-town drama, Cherie gradually reveals that the diary itself is part of a larger performance: an attempt to introduce a long-term social vision rooted in ecological w... more

  • Doesn’t Go Anywhere

I wanted to like this! It seems like a cool daily update. It’s too short and doesn’t really go anywhere. It’s a 20 something who is written like a 14 year old in a hotel room on some special school project. You’ll think the company will be some cool drama. Nope, almost done and nothing really happens so far.

It also runs about 2 minutes after the introduction so you don’t get much room for forward movement and it shows. There is some teen level relationships, but those stories are also extreme... more

  • Interesting?

Each episode is a short creative dialogue. Sometimes it’s a little preachy, but still interesting nonetheless. I don’t see a plot though, which leaves me confused. Guess I’m taking it one standalone episode at a time.

  • Weirdly wonderful

Completely original and unexpected. Mundane and sublime. Intriguing and intelligent. Enough said?

  • Don’t Waste Your Time

I have tried very hard to like this podcast, but after 70 episodes, it still makes absolutely no sense to me. It comes across, at least to me, as the disconnected musings of a creative writing class dropout. I do like the format—short, daily updates, but the content leaves a lot to be desired.

Q: What about the sketch?
The sketch was being worked on at the diner; I thought it was cool, so he gave it to me. It represented the Tree of Life and was meant for Finan, with plans to build a smaller version for Burning Man.
