There was a time when frustration was something I quietly packed away because it felt easier than dealing with it. After all, many of us were brought up to be strong, be nice, keep the peace and certainly not inconvenience anyone with uncomfortable e... more
Perception has a habit of masquerading as truth, particularly in the workplace where people make sense of us through remarkably little evidence. We introverts often leave gaps that others are only too happy to fill with their own assumptions, and tha... more
After talking about respect, I realised trust deserved a conversation of its own because without it, very little flourishes for long. I explore why we introverts may unintentionally give the impression that we do not trust others, even when that is f... more

I just stumbled upon your podcast by searching the word “Introvert” on Apple Podcasts. The title of this episode caught my attention so I listened. What can I say but… wow, wow, wow! What a wonderful episode with so much thought and presented with such clarity.

Flourishing introverts has helped me come in to my own and unapologetically show up as my whole self, after a life time of feeling less than and editing myself to fit in and be seen in professional and personal spaces.
I’ve absolutely loved diving into the Flourishing Introvert podcast and particularly love Joanna’s style of rattling cages to shake out the extraversion bias in business and at the same time, really championing the introvert. This conversation is so needed, and Joanna and her amazing guests are really contributing immensely to this (what I call!) crusade around introversion.
Really enjoy these wise words from Joanna.
