  • Everything you need to know about EV’s & more

  • A Mixed Bag

I've only just discovered this podcast. So far listened to two epidodes: 184 Newbies Q&A - Not great, the guest just seemed to go over and over again their insecurities regarding public charging, Second episode I listened to was much better - 231 The Battery Health Episode - informative. Such a contrast!

Tesla's integration across hardware and software and the scale of their ecosystem allows them to subsidize electricity more effectively, leveraging their broader business model rather than relying solely on charging revenues.
299 The Sam Clarke Episode
Q: What are the options the government has to reduce the price of public charging?
There are numerous levers including grant funding, regulatory actions to streamline grid connection, and encouraging innovative pricing models, but there is no single silver bullet; it will require a mix of measures and continued government support.
298 The New Tyre Update Episode
Q: What were your results in terms of noise before and after the swap?
My measurements showed a slight reduction in average decibels when using Hankook compared with the previous tyres, though the testing wasn't perfectly controlled and is mainly indicative.

Q: Andrew, tell me a little bit about the tires they put on your vehicle.
They are the ION FlexClimate SUV all-season tyres, chosen to match what I had before for a fair comparison, and they feel solid and confident in various conditions.
