I feel like if I keep listening this podcast will kill my love for pencils. It’s soooo boring. It’s like hosts are mumbling and rumbling about nothing and it takes ages to get to some kind of useful information. I gave it a fair go, tried couple of episodes but this is just draining life out of me :( very sad as I love pencils.
Great show and loved the Field Notes coverage which I have subscribed to for years but great to hear all the details that I knew nothing about. I’m in on the Wednesday freebies which I’ve never missed one of them. I bought the Musgrave purple pencils also, thanks.
Trying to be pretentious … are they too sophisticated 😅
Not sure they are at all aware of reality of American life
Three smart, funny guys and their guests talk pencils, paper, books, music and life. The focus may be stationery but as happens when friends get together all kinds of things get discussed. I learned early not to read the brief description of an episode and skip it because I didn't think I'd be interested. Every episode has held my attention so I'm now listening to all of them in order.
I realized as I was listening to the latest episode how much I appreciate this podcast. Over the last year or two, I’ve gotten so many great ideas from the hosts about pencils, other stationery products, but also interesting music, books, and TV/movies to try out. The flow of each episode has a structure but it’s loose enough that it always feels like a conversation rather than a checklist. I always smile when a new episode pops up my in podcast feed. Definitely would recommend.
