Jason Korol and Eian Carlin talk about the various styles within JKD and whether or those styles are contradictory and if JKD and truly be a unified system.
Hey, just making a comeback. Want to let everyone know where the show has been and it's possible future.
This is an on-the-spot interview I did with Don Brock. Don is my Dia Si Hing in JKD. This is the first time I have met him and it was a great conversation. Hope you all enjoy it!

Jason Korol back on the program. In this episode, we talk about the misunderstandings between JKD and Wing Chun. And the myths JKD has about Wing Chun and Wing Chun has about JKD. Controversial topic! Consider yourself warned!

Lots of interesting interviews from a lot of different disciplines. Listening in 2020, Eian tends to repeat his stories but is a good host and has interesting guests. Ended in 2018 due to his person commitments. Best of luck in your training and thanks for sharing your experiences!
Respect to Ian for representing a viewpoint that combines traditional martial arts with modern training. Ian sites his years of practicing JKD, Wing Chun, and more recent adventures training with full contact fighters in an MMA gym. The result is a very honest, but also rare, martial arts analysis.
He's not the first guy to walk into an MMA gym after realizing the limitations of more traditional arts, but he preserves his appreciation for TMA for what they are, and are not.

There's always room for another martial arts podcast... especially a good one. Eian is a thoughtful and insightful host who leads discussions that are worth your time. Give it a shot!
The empty cup is well named. It lacks any real context. I could only make it to the show about bullshido. I would love to shake the hand of a guy that can train in every style of karate, so many that Google can't give me a number, well enough to know they are bullshido. Plus the doesn't and will not see that everyone trains from their own reason which might not be the same as yours. I would not waste your time. Just go to Dudes of Kungfu
I was very impressed by the quality of Eian's (the host) questions. Makes for a great listen.
