  • Great Podcast

I absolutely love this podcast. I stumbled upon it when I was reading Stormlight Archive and I’ve yet to find a podcast that covers fantasy books so throughly with humor and insight. The structure of a first time reader coupled with an experienced reader is great without spoiling future chapters in the books. Their chemistry is outstanding. I can only hope they’ll be back to podcasting regularly again.

  • In-depth analysis meets hilarious comedy. This is really something for me, both royals have goofy sense of humour and great insights in books and stories.

  • Super Helpful

I’m a busy parent and I don’t always have the time that I used to to really dig into fantasy novels, especially ones that take a lot of initial investment in the world building, understanding the magic systems, etc. I find this podcast so helpful I was just a basic recap of what happened. Sometimes I miss stuff, and I’m really grateful when they walk through the chapters and I finally understand everything. Thanks! Love the show.

  • My new favourite pod!

I came across the pod recently when I started reading the Lies of Locke Lamora. Finished that and then immediately went back through the archive and I’m re-reading the Kingkiller Chronicles along with the show. Absolutely love the podcast - listening to the Duke and Duchess feels like having a chat with my cool aunt and uncle (even if I am in my 30’s…) and it’s such a pleasure to read along with them and hear their thoughts on all the great books they choose. Can’t reccommend these guys highly e... more
