    After I listened to a half-dozen episodes, I plunked down some dough to get his audiobook, Things I Wish I Knew Before Becoming an Instructional Designer. With the help of a friend who was a professional Instructional Designer, I applied these teachings to the software applications recommended and trained myself on them for a couple months while doing the arudous job search.
