  • Absolutely hilarious!!!

So glad I was introduced to this podcast, you guys are absolutely hilarious. I’ve been cackling my way across Europe like an idiot. The best decision I made (after booking my flights) was downloading your uncut episodes before I left. Honestly, 10/10 recommend for long walks, train rides, or pretending not to eavesdrop on strangers in cafés. You’re now officially part of my travel memories.

Q: What does good hands mean in horse racing?
Good hands means being able to get a horse to settle really well and not pulling on its mouth, ensuring they have a nice long reign to relax.
#271 - Mark Zahra - In the Jockey's Saddle with the King of the Melbourne Cup
Q: How does that whole process go about picking which horses you want to ride?
Some of it's luck. During springtime, it's essential to try and be healthy and try not to get suspended, which can limit choices in rides.
