  • Ingenuitive

Love this. Makes me nervous about our healthcare system and my role within it, and yet provides important insights. I appreciate that Stephen doesn’t blame “the system.” He is finding solutions and sharing them with others. Please keep going!!

  • Fantastic guests!

I’m the host, but I think it’s OK to write a review to say how awesome the guests have been so far. I promise there is much more where that came from.

  • Professional job

I could not have guessed that this was Stephen’s first or early podcast. It sounds professional. Because it is. Early in the podcast, he explains himself and the what and why of direct care. This had been for me a new/old understanding of medical care and the physician patient relationship. His story of his road back from bureaucratized corporate medicine to autonomy and value alignment as a physician is an enlightening and courageous one.

If you're unhappy in traditional employment, know that starting your own practice is more possible than many say, and there are guidebooks and networks to help you. If you're happy in your current job, stay put, but if you're not, believe that with the right mindset and mentors you can build something sustainable, with time and the willingness to learn from mistakes.

The Skinification of Hair and a Haircare System Designed with Your Skin Health in Mind | Iris Rubin, MD, Founder and CMO of SEEN
Q: How did you decide to start Seen and focus on hair care as skin care?
I recognized that the scalp is skin and that treating it well, with non-irritating, non-comedogenic formulations, can dramatically affect hair health and overall skin health. This realization led to a dermatologist-led product strategy that emphasizes safety, efficacy, and integration with skin care.
