  • Usually good but…

Increasing talk of political opinions as being ‘fact’ have put me off. Sorry Dave and Brad, it’s no longer for me.

  • Imagine being in the back seat of a car eavesdropping on a conversation between Dave O'Neil and the legends of Australian comedy (actually 'legend' is how Dave describes everyone). It's a great insight into how many of Australia's top comedy performers got to where they are and how they continue to hone their skills.... And it's just simply entertaining.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Tom Siegert, Ballarat
Q: What didn't go well and how did you adapt?
A cold start and some technical setup hiccups disrupted the opening, but they quickly recovered with crowd work, shifting to the five-minute warning and pushing through with the duck race as planned.
Tom Siegert, Ballarat
Q: What went well tonight?
The material landed across multiple bits, with the school crowd and the broader audience reacting well to the mix of family-friendly material and character bits; Tom highlighted the success of the Taylor Swift bit with the girls' school audience.
Brendhan Lovegrove, Mt Eliza
Q: How can we do better next time?
I think we did well tonight, and the locals did great. They had a wonderful comedic night and feedback from the audience was positive.
Brendhan Lovegrove, Mt Eliza
Q: What didn't go well? Anything?
Maybe the first two or three minutes were rough with the light still being outside, but overall it was a great gig.
Brendhan Lovegrove, Mt Eliza
Q: What went well tonight, Brendan, at this gig?
It was an older crowd, and I like older crowds because they just want to laugh without any bullshit.
