Good chat with comedians in cars. It even has its own theme tune.
Excited to hear the guests but if they dare take a breath, Dave jumps in, often answering his own question or fills in any space while they’re talking (‘yeah yeah yeah’ ‘ohhhh yeh right’). I wish he wasn’t so afraid of a little silence. Maybe listening back to his own pod would help improve the style. Currently cannot bear it. First 10 mins of Arj, so painful.
Great pod, Dave gives guests the space to take the conversation in some interesting directions. Love how it’s recorded on the road too feels like you are a passenger venturing to and from the gigs
Give us more. I laugh at every episode !!
Love Dave O'Neil's Podcast. Love the easy way he speaks with his guests. It is just like listening to friends having a chat and catching up. Feels familiar, being local to Melbourne. I enjoyed hearing stories about local our suburbs. 💙💜💚
