  • This podcast has changed my life

In a world of grasping for solutions to the many crises and problems facing all of us in our lives and in our societies, this podcast has really helped me center what’s real in my approach to life and struggle. It often feels like listening to someone say out loud what you know to be true but you hadn’t realized it or been able to articulate it yet. I’m really grateful to Death Panel for the work you do and that I chose to go to the Luigi talk in Chicago not really knowing what it would be about... more

  • Essential for deepening understanding

Disability & its intersections with criminalization, gender, race, & medicalization is an under explored & essential lens for both understanding our current moment & how to move towards liberation. I’ve been learning so, so much & recommend this incredibly smart podcast for everyone. Join the Patreon if you can.

  • Experimentation

Really enjoyed the show. Hope you guys can keep going for as long as possible. I also hope that you guys are following the case in Georgia of a black woman being forced to carry a baby even though she is clinically brain dead and the baby is also showing signs of abnormalities in the womb.

  • Thank you!!

This podcast has kept me sane and alive through the past five years. Without this podcast I would have fallen for the liberal gaslighting that Biden ended Covid and I would not be here today.

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Teaser - ACAP 02: Community Liberation Programs (05/11/26)
Q: What would CLP love to be able to do beyond current capabilities, and what would enable that in the wildest dreams scenario?
The host prompts exploration of expanded capacity and material conditions that would allow broader care networks and more ambitious organizing, inviting imagination about future growth while acknowledging feasibility limits.
Teaser - ACAP 02: Community Liberation Programs (05/11/26)
Q: What compromises have you had to make in your organizing work, and what have you refused to compromise on (red lines)?
We discuss the balance between sustaining programs and staying true to core principles, emphasizing accountability to the community, and being willing to end or pivot projects when needed to avoid harm or dilution of objectives.
The Past and Future of the NHS w/ Red Medicine
Q: What is the broad critique of the NHS 10-year plan from the hosts' perspective?
The hosts argue the plan militarizes health care as a tool of labor discipline and economic growth, relies on AI and genomics to justify privatization, and deepens inequities by tying funding and access to geographic and socioeconomic statuses.
Another Way Out w/ William C. Anderson
Q: What does it mean to be a spark in this moment, and what risks are necessary?
Being a spark means confronting fear, organizing beyond pet projects, and building infrastructures that protect communities, even at personal risk, while recognizing that the path to liberation involves learning from mistakes and acting with others rather than waiting for a savior.
Another Way Out w/ William C. Anderson
Q: Why critique liberal disengagement and what does it mean to 'learn through struggle'?
The hosts discuss how liberal activism can foster microwavable movements; true learning comes from struggle, not from consuming consumerist solutions, and organizing must involve direct action that meets people's immediate needs while building sustained power.
