Melanie is so knowlegeable, I’m learning so much!
That said, her rudeness to Kenneth is sometimes offputting.
As someone with newly curly hair (thanks hormones!) this has been a great way to try to figure out what to do with my new texture. Thanks Ken and Melanie!
I unfortunately turned this episode on as I got in the shower so I was forced to continue listening. They have good ideas for subjects to discuss but the whining and banter was annoying. There was nothing of substance to learn.
There is too much useless chatter. I came to learn, but felt too much time was wasted with inane gabbing.
20 minutes in and still they are talking about themselves, sponsors and brands. I came to listen how to and techniques. I’m going to keep listening to see if it gets better. So far this hasn’t gotten my attention.
I’ve listened to about 5 shows. There’s so much talking about other things in between questions. The answers are informative but I can’t take the random conversations and the “you knows” from Melanie with every answer to questions.

Great podcast, awesome host, give it a listen.
great podcast! give it a listen! looking forward to more!
Started listening last January right after I started CGM. Been dealing with hair loss issues - I love that they answer questions on many topics related to curly hair. Not to mention the hosts are hilarious and real. Thank you!!
They teach you to embrace your curls. Ken is hilarious and Melanie is talented. Thank you guys
So happy I came across this podcast. For the persons who make this podcast happen, Thank You! You are making difference 👏👏. I get so much useful information . Just recently stubbled upon the World of Curly Hair Method. I was about ready to shave my hair off. I was unhappy with my curls because I did not know How to properly care for them. AND Did not know How to find a stylist that could. Now I have both!! I am now on a happy healthy curly road to freedom! It is very exhausting to leave to ba... more
Thank so much for sharing all your knowledge. I found your podcast unique and very informative. I listen to your podcast religiously every week. Big fan! Keep the good work!
Super useful and informative information on all things curly hair related!!
I liked the podcast at first, but as I keep listening, I realize that there’s absolutely zero information on how to deal with my super curly, underrepresented hair texture. Which is fine, I understand that everyone is different. But, then some of the episodes got really alienating and borderline elitist. It’s just another reminder of why I don’t like to interact with the curly hair community. Maybe SOMEDAY I’ll find people who can actually help me with my hair.
Now I wish I had anything besides the straightest hair imaginable :(
