  • Refuge for the curious indeed

I’ve been a designer since Photoshop v2 and the resistance being exhibit towards AI is similar to the resistance to Photoshop in the early 90s. The intensity of critics and their tendency towards ad hominem insults aimed at those who are experimenting with Ai seems misplaced and ill-informed.

We all begin by standing on the shoulders of giants and collaging the past with our unique vision with the goal of innovating. AI is the bionic version of this process.

  • AI art isn’t art

AI art isn’t art. Art is the expression of human creativity. Using AI-generated imagery instead of creating art youself is lazy at best and plagiarism at worst. images AI isn’t “democratizing” filmmaking, either. You can make a better movie on your iPhone than you can with midjourney. Don’t listen to this podcast unless you like listening to self-righteous plagiarists come up with excuses for their lack of talent.
