  • A fantasy baseball must

Nobody has taught me more with their analysis of the MLB in the last couple years than Nick from @PitcherList. I don’t need anyone read the box scores and sort recent stats for me. He's so good at judging/explaining the process instead of the results. This dude should be working for a team.

  • If Nick could ever ever STFU…

    This show could really soar.

So many awkward talking-over moments, it feels like instead of listening to Eno he’s just waiting to say the thing He wants to say. It’s maddening and uneven.

Right now he has Lance Broz on—a guest!—and NP is talking 80% of the time. Lance talks to players/coaches every day but hey guess what I talked to Taillon once I’m gonna interrupt you and talk for 4 minutes, while not letting you talk cleanly for more than 12 seconds.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

CFT 83 - Most Added Starting Pitchers
Q: How should managers think about a rookie like Gage Jump when he's in the early stages of his career?
Treat him as a volatile but intriguing long-shot streamer; monitor command, changeup development, and how Sacramento environment may affect his performance before committing in shallower formats.
CFT 83 - Most Added Starting Pitchers
Q: What makes Dustin May's recent performance stand out for fantasy managers?
His adjustment to a cutter-heavy approach against lefties, plus a higher four-seam presence, has sharpened his strike alignment and increased upside, though consistency and health remain concerns.
CFT 78 - Who Is MLB's Top Rookie SP?
Q: Is Christian Scott more reliable than Fuentes or Prelip based on current data?
Scott looks more veteran with a wider MLB exposure and a potentially more stable command profile, which makes him seem more trustworthy for fantasy and rotation roles in the near term.
CFT 78 - Who Is MLB's Top Rookie SP?
Q: Who would you rather have between DDA Fuentes and Connor Prelip right now?
Prelip, because he offers a wider arsenal and multiple weapons that play up against both hands, giving him a higher ceiling even if Fuentes has a strong fastball and a powerful heater.
CFT 76 - Early Season Observations
Q: What is your take on Foster Griffin's new mix of pitches and command so far this year?
Griffin shows exciting command and expanded pitch variety, including a sharper splitter and improved control, but the changeup still needs to land consistently to unlock his full upside.
