  • Good, but a little underbaked

This podcast has potential. It would benefit from a little more research and preparation into the movies and their context beyond the costumes. The hosts are clear about pointing out when they don’t know something, that is commendable. But a little more homework would strengthen their ability to contextualize the costumes within the film and within its wider history and culture.

  • Live this Podcast! Engaging and knowledgeable

I love listening to this while I work.

The hosts do such a great job of explaining the costumes and relevant information on the topic they’re discussing!

I feel like I’m just talking with my friends and listening to them while they explain the art! It’s stuff I find interesting but don’t know in great detail. So I love that they explain and help see things I would have seen or connected otherwise.

It’s not an in-depth review on a full movie and EVERYTHING about it. It’s about costumes! I love... more

  • Fun dive into the art of the movies!

I thoroughly enjoy this podcast, it’s an interesting detailed discussion of the costume work done in some of my fav and classic movies!

After listening to Sarah & Jojo I am inspired to watch or revisit the films they discuss.

I wouldn’t consider myself costume-fanatic but I am a fan of movies, especially exceptionally visual ones, and I am always pleased listening to an episode.

One more thing I’d like to add, this is a very soothing podcast to listen to. Sarah and Jojo are smart and witty, ... more

  • A must for costume fans

Loving this podcast. It’s interesting to hear the stories behind the costumes, and the format of having two films that complement each other in each episode works well. It’s great to have some of the inside perspectives from two costume designers too. Can’t wait to see what other films they do.

  • Informative and Entertaining!

These ladies sure know how to draw you in and make you notice aspects of a movie or show you wouldn't otherwise. Not only have I learned to form an opinion, but Sarah and Jojo's banter makes me smile and feel joy. Movies, Theatre and Costumes! What more could we ask for?!
