Willie Myette's lessons are among the best online lessons I've found, and I learn a few instruments and use a number of sites. He breaks down the lessons step-by-step and very thoroughly, with good visuals and he explains clearly the theory behind what he's demonstrating. As an older novice in the jazz apprentice world, with limited means, I have always appreciated the high quality of Willie's teaching skills. He makes substantial portions of his material available to "passengers" even though they don't actually compensate him financially. The "Confident Improviser" podcast is an excellent example of this freely available, practical, and rigorous approach.
When I first started with Willie, one of the options was a series of lessons called "No Bull Piano." In a nutshell, that's the essence of his teaching.
