Willie Myette's lessons are among the best online lessons I've found, and I learn a few instruments and use a number of sites. He breaks down the lessons step-by-step and very thoroughly, with good visuals and he explains clearly the theory behind what he's demonstrating. He's enthusiastic, and also generous in the amount of instruction he gives away. Highly recommended!
I have been studying with Willie for about 10 years and playing the piano since I was a child. His courses are the most complete and well thought out that I have used online and I have used many.
Over the years he has continued to refine his methods and though they have always been great they are even more efficient and effective now.
Willie is a great teacher and a very thoughtful and sensitive person in relation to student’s state of mind while trying to learn the piano.

As an older novice in the jazz apprentice world, with limited means, I have always appreciated the high quality of Willie's teaching skills. He makes substantial portions of his material available to "passengers" even though they don't actually compensate him financially. Too many other teachers/online sites promise that you'll be playing whatever you want in no time --- Willie cuts through that bull and takes you on a longer and more rewarding journey toward REALLY expressing yourself through the piano. And he provides lots of ways to get personal support from him if that's what you need. And that journey wil... more
