I really enjoy the concept of this podcast, I miss having dvd commentaries. I’ve only listened to earlier episodes, so this may change in the future ones, but I do wish the host would let the guest more freely comment on the film vs asking so many questions; I think more organic “fun facts” and discussion topics come up that way and it’s more like an actual commentary. One of the episodes I listened to truly could have just been an interview for the most part, it didn’t seem like a lot was added... more
No other shows goes into this kind of depth about the making of movies for steaming - gets hosts too!
Look, this is a huge gap in the market right now. There are so many fantastic films and TV shows on streaming services right now that we desperately need commentary tracks for. Fincher on Mank? I mean, I’d listen to 3-4 hours of that of Grant and Dave could net him. Keep up the great work guys.
Just finished listening to the first episode of this podcast. While the execution is good but not mindblowing, the idea is excellent and has great potential. I will definitely be listening to future episodes! Keep up the good work!
