  • Phlegm and Swallowing

I am a regular. The content is good. I listen to almost every show. However, there have been times when I just could not listen to the whole show because the constant sounds of sniffing and swallowing and congestive sticky phlegm in my ears was so distracting and viscerally repulsive that I just couldn’t get past it. Please, I’m begging you, find a solution or strategy for this. I want to hear your perspective on the industry, but may own visceral response to these distracting noises is making i... more

  • Great Listen

I am just getting started on my cloud career and was recommended this podcast. It hasn’t been a disappointment in any ways. The information is relevant and presented in a way that the hosts clearly demonstrate the experience and acumen. I just finished the end of year wrap up and I was surprised that the hosts were thinking people would have not be tuned into the end of the show. I listened to the whole thing and was surprised when the show was concluding. I look forward to their shows for 2023

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

AI Agents vs. AI Assistants
Q: What are the common hurdles that folks need to consider when implementing AI solutions in their organizations?
The best sales reps are meaningfully differentiated from the next best, and organizations should focus on value creation and capturing opportunities to leverage AI in ways that multiply productivity for sales reps.
Virtualizing Kubernetes Clusters
Q: Is there overhead to the virtualization versus bare metal? Like what is the performance?
Some customers validate it on their own and discover that vCluster performs better in many scenarios than actual cloud host clusters.
Virtualizing Kubernetes Clusters
Q: So what's your thoughts on why virtualize Kubernetes? Like, why not just do bare metal?
The main reason for why this is important is when you think of the early days of Kubernetes, it's really designed at its core to be a large scale distributed system.
VMware Migrations
Q: How do you talk to customers through the challenge of re-skilling the organization for new platforms?
We provide a mapping of VMware features to their KVM equivalents to help transitioning administrators.
VMware Migrations
Q: When you speak to customers about this, what should they consider?
They should consider the tooling available to simplify the migration process and the associated costs of migrating from VMware.
