  • Overshadowed

I came to this podcast to hear Gloria Masters share her story, and what a heartbreaking story it was. Unfortunately, the interviewer repeatedly interrupted her to share his own experiences, which detracted from her narrative. His constant mentions of the podcast’s large platform, as though he was doing her a great favor, felt self-congratulatory and quite off-putting. It overshadowed the profound impact of Gloria’s story.
