Whether you are already an experienced celebrant or officiant, or you are thinking about becoming one, this podcast is for you! Start from the very first episode and you’ll gain some great ideas and lots of inspiration and motivation from initially Natasha and then the partnership of Natasha & Claire. I’ve been an officiant for 14.5 years now and I still learn something from each episode, and I find myself nodding along as I listen, too.
Having trained to be a celebrant earlier this year, I found my course to be a bit fusty and traditional. Where was all the exciting, passionate, inspiring role-models. I’d become a celebrant to do things differently, not the same as everyone else. Luckily that’s when I found Claire and Natasha’s podcast and their Celebrant Collective. more
Thank you both for such a thought provoking podcast for Celebrants. It really helps to focus the mind on different aspects of the business as well as the the ceremony creation and delivery. It is always a delight when a new episode is launched !
Thanks for making the episode about Can you Make A Living From Being a Celebrant not all about your own story, what you said is exactly right there’s no clear answer or magic bullet. Like setting up any business it’s hard work with lots of highs and lows. In this day of digital marketing it seems to be about how much you can afford to spend on ad campaigns!! Thanks again from New Zealand.
This was great food for thought! I don't think you send a complete script to your couples, so those of us who do may feel less need for rehearsal as well. I've rehearsed once for a bride whose nerves were almost phobic, so it really helped her. Otherwise, I've realised I must put "virtual run through" (which I also do) into my file of offerings. Thanks Natasha x
