  • Great

As I consider Catholicism, Brian’s content is really valuable. I appreciate his highly logical, fluff free, concise videos. My only criticism isn’t the content itself, but that many of his YouTube videos don’t end up being uploaded on Apple podcasts. It would be nice if they all showed up here too.

  • A Breath of Fresh Air

Brian’s approach to the world through the lens of the riches of the Catholic philosophical tradition does wonders to stoke the dying embers of the modern man who has lost his roots. With well articulated and crafted ideas, he presents the ever ancient and ever new and ever needed truths of Christ to weary ears and hearts.

  • Authentic Catholic

I suppose I’ll be the contrarian here. I understand that Brian Holdsworth may come off as a modern Pharisee. However, the Church has laid out a way of life for optimal flourishing and “modern” man thinks he knows better than 2,000 years of tradition. Brian Holdsworth is advocating for a Catholic way of life that was ripped apart and destroyed by its leaders. Because we don’t know any better, it makes sense as to why Holdsworth would seem radical. Remember, they thought the teachings of Christ we... more

  • Insufferable

Unsubbed. Holdsworth has gone from a fascinating convert to an insufferable Pharisee. He constantly criticizes those without children, for example, with no charity or mercy for those struggling with infertility. Truly a modern day judgmental Pharisee with a narcissistic twist! Humility is the foundation of the call to holiness. Holdsworth created a cash grabbing cult of personality for himself and then accuses others of not doing Catholicism right.

Feminism: The Shadow Church w/ Dr. Carrie Gress
Q: What do you think is the solution for young men today, especially given the changes in gender dynamics?
Fundamentally, for Catholics, the real source is going to be to go back to Our Lady. We need to have a prayer life that frees us from resentment and contempt.
Feminism: The Shadow Church w/ Dr. Carrie Gress
Q: Can you tell us a bit about your background and how your views on feminism evolved?
I was raised Catholic but didn't practice. After my father passed away, I began to seek the truth more deeply, ultimately moving away from the feminist views I initially held.
