  • Good interviews

These guys put on a great show. Between the way Adam always seems to ask the right questions and the 5-10 words John contributes to each episode makes for some true insight to bow hunting. All jokes aside these guys really do know what they are doing both in the woods and behind the mic.

  • New idea for Gold Podcast

The Bleise Public Roast did it for me.

All great hunters I know are at least somewhat selfish. Instead of asking the men what they think of their time away ask their children. As a man with a family I’m extremely interested in this.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

How Target Archery Builds Better Hunters - Nate Sellers
Q: What does it take to go from semi-pro to pro in ASA/IBO, and is it mostly about scores or other factors?
Becoming pro is as much about consistent high scores as it is committing to a grueling schedule and proving you can perform at six national events; many top shooters balance work and family, and only a rare few can sustain full-time pro competition.
Would You Switch Trail Cameras for This? - Yellowstone AI
Q: What makes Yellowstone AI stand out in the crowded cell camera market?
Ben points to durability, remote troubleshooting, and high-quality images/video, supported by strong US-based customer service and a focus on forming a dealer network rather than chasing aggressive hardware pricing.
So You Want to Be A Cameraman
Q: What are some tips for organizing footage after a hunt?
Create folders sorted by date and camera type to manage your footage effectively; this makes editing much easier.
So You Want to Be A Cameraman
Q: What was the hardest part of learning to self-film for you?
The biggest challenge was understanding all the features of the cameras, especially when transitioning to more complex cinematography equipment.
Nine Yard Alaskan Archery Black Bear From the Ground - Joe Griffin
Q: Can you tell a little bit of that tale about your bear hunt in Alaska?
Joe shares that while hunting in Alaska, they aimed to kill a grizzly bear but ended up tagging out early with multiple black bears, culminating in a thrilling nine-yard shot on a black bear.
