I started listening to this podcast before I opened my indie bookshop and have not missed an episode. So much useful information. Wonderful resource for new booksellers.

  • Truly joyful

I absolutely love this podcast. Working my way through every episode from the start. Everyone is so honest and there is a warmth to the stories. I have nothing to do with book selling, it’s a dream and of course I’m a passionate reader. Thankyou for doing this!

  • Too hard to hear! Sort out some equipment!

Sitting back from the mic — if there even is one — is a bad idea for the two hosts. Means that this listener has clicked off and probably won’t want to try again. Moving on!

  • So many good eps and insights

Love the way Jaye and Mark host this podcast revealing the inner thinking and workings of booksellers. It’s not just great for booksellers to listen to to get ideas, it’s an opportunity for publishers and authors to be informed about the commercial aspect of the book business. There are also plenty of tips about appropriate author etiquette too - so if you’re traditionally published or an indie author, it’s worth a listen. Thanks. Anna from Bold Authors.
