  • Best of PSU podcasts!

I’ve listened to them all and BWI is the best. The whole crew is good but especially Thomas Frank Carr. He is very insightful and analytical on a level with national tv guys like Collinsworth. He is also not a homer and hold PSU coaches and players accountable. But with all that, he is very entertaining - knows how to keep conversations lively, is very relatable, and addresses the questions regular fans want to know about. My only problem is that he will be discovered soon and go on to national ... more

  • Baller PSU Podcast!

I don’t remembering seeing 7 offensive lineman sets (outside of goaline) since opening drive of first game. Does PSU bring those back against Ohio State?

  • Lost good will

Such a good show ruined by excessive and overly long commercials that drop mid sentence. Still worth a listen, just be prepared to often hit the FF button.

  • Great coverage of Penn State football, BUT…

One of the top podcasts covering Penn State Football, BUT this is the enshi**ified podcast version of their YouTube show. Dropping commercials into someone speaking mid-sentence shows a complete disregard for the quality of your product. It’s like the producers of the show ask themselves each week, “How intolerable can we make the ad breaks before people stop listening?”

  • Very good podcast

Let me start by saying I enjoy All PennSt. News,

So I’m biased. My only complaint is there is little or no coverage of their most dominate program. I know my favorite is covered and I’m grateful but I knocked 1 star off because there’s rarely if ever any wrestling. Sorry guys love the football but I love Penn St. Wresting too. But all in all the guys are great. I enjoy their work.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

Who’s Standing Out at Penn State Camp?
Q: What is the status of the quarterback once the spring culminates?
Becht is ahead of schedule and has been throwing with the wide receivers, which is seen as a positive sign for his leadership and the offense's timing as spring progresses.
A Rivals Insider's Honest Take on Matt Campbell's Recruiting — Should Penn State Fans Be Worried?
Q: How important is the West Coast and national reach for Penn State's recruiting under Campbell?
A broader recruiting footprint is essential, but Penn State should be selective and leverage existing connections while creating new ones. The key is balancing regional strengths with national visits and targeted players who fit the system and can be developed for the NFL.
Allen Trieu Interview: The Biggest Difference Between Matt Campbell and James Franklin
Q: How do you see Penn State balancing blue-chip targets with development and sleepers?
They will need a blended approach: pursue top-end players when the fit is right but also actively develop and verify sleepers who fit their system, trusting their evaluators and leveraging a strong off-field team.
Allen Trieu Interview: The Biggest Difference Between Matt Campbell and James Franklin
Q: What do you think is the biggest mismatch or challenge moving from Iowa State to Penn State in recruiting philosophy?
The biggest challenge is adapting a proven Midwest-reliant model to an East Coast/Big Ten environment with different competition and NIL dynamics, while preserving the core benefit of strong evaluation and relationship building.
Future Stars at Penn State? Mailbag Questions, Combine Reactions & Position Battles
Q: How do you think the new staff will handle veteran reps with new installations on both offense and defense?
The expectation is that spring will focus more on installing the system and building team identity than on widespread veteran reps, with many reps allocated to installing schemes and evaluating early on which players grasp the playbook, while injuries and depth will shape opportunities for younger players.
