  • Am I missing something?

The guys were talking about tight end and just completely skipped over Khalil Dinkins. Do they know something we don’t? From what we’ve seen it’ll be him in 2025 right? Also they said there was no qb in the 2025 class but bekkem Kritza is definitely committed…I feel like the guys don’t actually keep in touch with the team they just come up with hot takes about James Franklin.

  • Jones

Jones again went on and on about how great Rutgers was and how it would be hard for PSU…now when he gets back on he’ll say well it was just Rutgers. Dude is miserable.

  • Too much politics not enough PSU football

Mediocre content supposedly about Penn State football but this makes up a minority of the content. There is more content about other conferences and college football in general and the NBA than there is about Penn State football. That would be tolerable but the marijuana commercial that runs every three minutes makes it difficult to listen to the mediocre content. And now they’re running a pro abortion commercial. Too much politics! I’m out.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

David Jones on Matt Campbell at Penn State, Terry Smith & Franklin’s Exit
Q: How does Campbell differ from James Franklin in terms of press conferences, messaging, and overall leadership style?
Campbell is described as direct and detailed in his answers, not relying on lengthy filibustering, and he tends to be less promotional and more focused on what's happening with the team and players. This contrasts with Franklin's broader CEO-like approach and press-conference persona, and could influence how transparent the program is with media and fans moving forward.
David Jones on Matt Campbell at Penn State, Terry Smith & Franklin’s Exit
Q: Is there anything else you can say, maybe, to share with the Penn State fans about Matt Campbell?
Matthew Campbell has a very highly regarded track record at Iowa State, especially as a development-focused coach who can maximize three-star talent and translate that into competitive teams. He is seen as resourceful on game day and capable of maintaining player development across classes, which stands in contrast to previous eras and could help Penn State recruit more effectively in the Mid-Atlantic and DMV regions.
Where is Drew Allar's draft stock? Penn State pro day recap
Q: What stood out to you yesterday from Drew Allar's Pro Day performance?
Allar showed improved velocity, demonstrated an NFL-scripted approach with under-center play actions, and displayed movement ability that reinforced his elite tools, which could help reframe scouts' perception despite injury-related gaps in recent tape.
Analyzing Penn State's running back room in 2026
Q: What is the likelihood of the 2026 Penn State backfield replicating Nick and Katron's balance of carries and overall production?
While the established tandem's record-setting production is hard to match, the new group is built for a balanced, two-back approach with multiple capable options that could allow the offense to sustain success through depth, situational usage, and improved pass-catching from the backfield; the coaching staff seems intent on leveraging a committee to maintain health and efficiency.
Early thoughts on Penn State positions of strength after many, many transfer portal additions
Q: Do you feel like there's some more dominoes to fall at quarterback?
It's a challenge to convince someone to come in as a backup, and the options are limited.
