  • Great show

Wish Robin would make shows more current. Don’t really like that shows sometimes we’re recorded weeks ago. Maybe worry more about quality than quantity. Also some euro guests are really hard to understand with thick accents. All in all I like to listen to this show.

  • Great guests, good flow and enthusiasm

I listen to a lot in this space, and I always appreciate people that offer up to their listeners a broader view than the HODL at all costs mindset. Appreciate the depth and level of genuine and enthusiasm, the episode with Jim Crider was great, that dude gets it.

Talking Points

Recent interactions between the hosts and their guests.

This Is Bitcoin's Biggest Generational Wealth Setup Yet.
Q: Is self-custody essential in facing possible future tax and regulatory changes?
Yes, self-custody is portrayed as critical to resilience against on/off-ramp controls and future taxation, enabling people to retain control of their wealth and participate in decentralized networks.
This Is Bitcoin's Biggest Generational Wealth Setup Yet.
Q: Do you think AI will significantly reshape labor markets and what does that mean for Bitcoin as a store of value?
AI is expected to drive exponential productivity gains that could deflate many traditional sectors; Bitcoin is positioned as a deflationary asset that could absorb these productivity gains and serve as a robust store of value amidst economic restructuring.
This Is Bitcoin's Biggest Generational Wealth Setup Yet.
Q: What is the most interesting thing for you to start with in Bitcoin discussions right now?
The guest highlights the interplay between geopolitical events, macro policy and Bitcoin's narrative as a catalyst for adoption, with a focus on how AI, energy, and regulation influence Bitcoin's perceived value and utility.
Nik Bhatia: Bitcoin Has Been This Cheap Only 18% Of The Time
Q: Where do you get your confidence that Bitcoin can reach very high prices despite current drawdowns?
Confidence comes from a qualitative assessment anchored in power-law adoption, strengthening on-chain activity, the growing cadre of long-term holders, and the broad-based inflows from institutions and sovereigns that suggest a durable, expanding network rather than a temporary rally.
5,000 Years Of Money: Bitcoin Isn't Money, It's Something Bigger
Q: What makes Bitcoin fundamentally different from traditional money according to your framework?
Bitcoin is a non-sovereign property right of exclusion over valuable assets, a unit of account and store of value in theory but primarily a durable, hard-to-debase store of value that coordinates claims and obligations across a global network, providing resilience against sovereign debasement rather than fitting neatly into classic money definitions.
